Automatic Maintenance Asset Creation for “Entry for Tracking in Receiving Only” Serial Control

We are validating automatic asset creation from a purchase order receipt for an item configured with the following attributes:

• Enable Asset Tracking: Full Lifecycle
• Enable Asset Maintenance: Yes
• Create Fixed Asset: At Receipt
• Serial Generation: Entry for tracking in receiving only

We have successfully tested automatic asset creation for:

• Non-serialized items
• Items using standard serial control, such as Dynamic entry at inventory receipt

In those scenarios, the purchase order receipt results in the expected downstream creation of the Maintenance Asset and Fixed Asset.
