Grade Ladder rate update

Oracle has logged this issue as BUG: 39747688.
Could Everyone please let me know if there is any available workaround?
My thought: We could temporarily switch to the Responsive UI, load the Grade rate, and proceed with the salary process so that the updated rate is captured correctly. Once Oracle provides a fix, we can test it in the test instance and then re-enable the Redwood UI in production.
Do you think this approach would be appropriate, or would you recommend a better workaround?
I would appreciate your views and suggestions.
