Is there a field in Order Management Extensions that stores the creation_mode attribute?

Summary:

We have received the following requirements from the customer:

Restrict users from creating new sales orders through the UI.
However, users should still be able to create return orders through the UI.

We are investigating whether these requirements can be implemented using an Order Extension.

Since new sales orders are normally created through the IF, we thought it would be possible to distinguish the creation method by using a value such as DOO_HEADERS_ALL.CREATION_MODE.

Is there an attribute available in the Order Extension that stores the same information as DOO_HEADERS_ALL.CREATION_MODE?
