How to pass external usage charges during Order creation using dummy rate plans?

Hi Team,

We are looking for the best practice to pass externally calculated Usage charges into Oracle during the Order creation process.

We understand that Oracle typically requires a defined Rate plan to process usage charges. To work around this, we are considering creating a "bare minimum" or "dummy" rate plan within the system, while passing the actual, externally calculated usage values or charges dynamically.

We currently see standard provisions and APIs to pass pricing components like One-Time and Recurring charges during creation, but we are looking for the specific mechanism to handle Usage.

  1. Is there a supported API, payload structure, or interface table to pass external usage charges directly at creation time?

Howdy, Stranger!
