Grader ladder effective date changes and impact?

Hi Everyone

I have a quick question regarding Grade Ladder effective date changes.

Currently, we are updating a Grade Rate under a Grade Ladder. The Grade Ladder effective date is 01-Jan-1951.

We need to update the Grade Rate with an effective date of 01-Jun-2026. However, after loading the Grade Rate through HDL, the updated value is not visible on the front end, although it is showing correctly in the backend.

We have raised an SR with Oracle, and the Oracle engineer advised that we also need to update the Grade Ladder effective date to 01-Jun-2026. However, I am not fully confident that this is the correct approach and would like to understand the potential impact before proceeding.
