Delegated roles to access check-ins on behalf of manager not working

Summary:

Hi hoping someone can shed some light on this as it was working a while back before 26B - our directors delegated our custom line manager roles to their PAs so they could manage their check-ins - this worked, recently we have had noise that it doesn't so tested this and got this error:

"You can't update the check-in document. Only a worker and manager who are participating in the check-in document can update it. (HRA-960436)"

Has something changed? Any workarounds for this?
