Pause is not releasing automatically when actual delivery date is updated

we have a requirement that - AR Invoice needs to be created Incase of "Actual Delivery Date" is populating at SO line level. For this we have customized an orchestration with below conditions (Pause implemented between ship & Invoice steps). However, Pause is applying automatically in orchestration after ship step.

Here, "Pause" is releasing automatically by system if "Actual Delivery date" is populated/available at SO line level. Issue is if there is no "Actual delivery Date" available at SO line level then SO is throwing an error. Can you please assist on this.
