Hello, I need some support on collapsing rule in Benefits module.

Summary:

Hello,

I need some support on collapsing rule in Benefits module.

When a Benefits collapsing rule reprocesses a New Hire life event as the winning event, Oracle does not retain the benefit elections already submitted by the employee.

Our collapsing rule applies when a Change of Home Address life event occurs within 10 days of the New Hire event. The New Hire event correctly remains the winning event, but Oracle backs it out and reprocesses it. The employee’s submitted elections are then removed and replaced by default enrollments.

This happens without any warning, notification or exception report.

Oracle should retain the employee’s submitted elections when reprocessing the winning event. If this is not possible, the system must provide an automated alert and a supported way to identify and restore affected elections.

Howdy, Stranger!
