Compensation ICP BPM Workflow Configuration Issue: Numeric Comparison on specialInputValue

I am currently working on the Individual Compensation Workflow in the BPM Worklist.
The Amount field in the ICP element is configured as a primary input value and is defined as a monetary/numeric field. In the BPM Worklist, we are referencing Worker's Other Compensation Details.specialInputValue, which is configured as a Special Input Value.
The approval requirement is that when Worker's Other Compensation Details.specialInputValue exceeds 500, the transaction should be routed through a specific approval workflow.
However, during testing, the ICP amount provided was 900, but the approval rule did not trigger as expected.
