Error when importing Person Profile using configuration package

Summary:

I have configured the Redwood Person Profile, Content Types and want to export to another environment. When importing the package into the new environment I get the following error

Review and report the errors for this object to product Profile Management.
Detail Object: ProfileType. Status: Completed with errors. Status Details: A total of 1 rows were processed. 0 rows of them failed and 0 rows completed with warnings.
You can't subscribe to the Preferences section because it's already subscribed by another content section.

I tried deleting the existing Subscribers on the 'Preferences' content sections, but the load still fails

How do I 'fix' these errors to be able to import?
