OFFS 90-day retention: does it purge activities linked to a Fusion Field Service Work Order?

Summary:

We are evaluating whether to use the new Fusion Field Service Work Order model (26A, no OIC accelerator required, per Implementing Fusion Field Service Work Orders, G53823-02) instead of routing Siebel orders directly into Oracle Fusion Field Service (OFFS) activities via OIC. One of our key architectural drivers is the OFFS Business Rules retention setting for Activity, Inventory, Service Request and History information, documented with a default and maximum of 90 days ("Activities are retained for these number of days regardless of their status").

Under the new unified Work Order/Activity model, the Work Order is described as the header record and the Activity as the child record, sharing the same underlying data with no duplication or synchronization required.
