Oracle Payables Agent Security Design Question
We are currently evaluating the Oracle Payables Agent / Document IO functionality and would appreciate guidance on Oracle's recommended security design approach.
Current State
- We already have custom Accounts Payable roles derived from seeded Oracle roles such as Accounts Payable Specialist and Accounts Payable Manager.
- Our security model follows a least-privilege approach with separate:
- Inquiry roles
- Transactional roles
- Setup/Configuration roles
- We are evaluating whether to:
- Add the required AI Payables Agent privileges/roles to our existing AP custom roles, or
- Create separate AI-specific roles and assign them alongside existing AP roles.
