Is the Save Comment button no longer required in Redwood Individual Compensation after 26B?

edited Aug 26, 2026 7:48PM in Compensation 2 comments

Hello everyone,

In our current 26B environment, the Save Comment button is no longer displayed in the Comments and Attachments section of the Redwood Individual Compensation process.

We tested the following scenario:

  1. Entered a comment in the Comments and Attachments section.
  2. Clicked Submit directly, without separately saving the comment.
  3. Verified the submitted transaction in Approval History.
  4. Confirmed that the comment was successfully saved under Comments and Attachments and associated with the submitter.

In 26A, Oracle documentation indicated that users had to explicitly click Save Comment; otherwise, the comment would not be stored. We also saw earlier Customer Connect discussions reporting that this additional action was required after the 26A update.

Howdy, Stranger!
