How to allow routing assignment when technician skill ratio is below the required threshold?

Summary:

Hi,

We are currently configuring routing plans in Oracle Field Service (OFS) and encountered a specific scenario regarding Work Skill Ratios that we need guidance on.

Context:

An activity requires a specific skill with a 75% Required Ratio and 100% Preferable Ratio.


The only available technician covering the area/time window has a 50% Skill Ratio.


Current Behavior:

Because the technician’s ratio (50%) is below the minimum required ratio (75%), the routing engine skips this technician and leaves the activity unassigned.


Questions:


Is there any configuration or workaround within the Routing Plan settings (e.g., using specific fallback filters, soft constraints, or routing passes) that would allow OFS to assign the activity to this technician despite not meeting the required 75% threshold?
