Turn off need to enter absence reason on time card

Summary:

This seems to be affecting only one of our absence types, but is there any way to turn off the need to enter an absence reason when choosing a specific absence? Otherwise we have to update all of the time cards to add in the absence reason field, tie the absence reasons to the absence type, and then even then the reason LOV isn't populating.
