Advance Mode in Redwood and Classic page behaves differently

Summary:

Hi Team,

When we try to apply leave as date range with custom start and end time in Redwood Absence and Entitlement page (My Client Group > Absences > Absence and Entitlement) system automatically picks up the work schedule whereas when we apply the same leave in Classic page(My Client Group > Person Management > Manage Absence Record) system picks up the start and end time entered manually and calculates the duration. Why is this behaviour different in Redwood and Classic page? Is this a known issue?
