OTM screen results exported show negative number in double quotes in excel

After going to a invoice screen, if I export the screen result page, then the cost value which is a negative number , gets displayed in double quotes in the result excel file that gets downloaded. This column is actually invoice_refnum_value column which is of type varchar

How to stop this behavior in OTM or is this a bug? or there is some solution?
