Query regarding possible custom approach for entering mileage claims

Hello,

I was wondering whether any other users of Expenses have had any success with using DFFs and (potentially) custom lookups/custom tables, to deliver functionality which supports efficient and user-friendly business mileage claims based on certain business requirements. Please find some additional context provided below, as well as confirmation of the exact question(s) I was hoping to get some feedback on.

Context

  • We have a number of locations, currently stored within ORA_EXM_MILEAGE_LOCATIONS
  • There is currently a spreadsheet which records the different journey distances between the various combinations of locations, i.e.
    • Location A > Location B = 10 miles
