ATP Rule = Source Based Promising

in Order Management

Hi,

Has anyone implemented this attribute "Check ATP = Source Based Promising" setup in PIM?

As per my knowledge from the user guide and various CCC posts-

A) Source based promising can be used for both Back-to-Back and normal items.

B) We do not have to collect Supply data or refresh the GOP to sync the Item availability.

C) We cannot have Item based sourcing rule assignments / ATP rules for the item setup as "Check ATP = Source Based Promising" in PIM. But we can have Category/Customer-Customer Site / Organization etc.

  1. Does GOP get real time availability for any inventory transaction? Is there any impact of using this feature?
