DFF Context Based on Expense Report Template Name in Expenses (EXM_EXPENSES)

Hello Oracle Team,

We would like to understand whether it is possible to configure Descriptive Flexfields (DFFs) on the Expenses (EXM_EXPENSES) entity using the Expense Report Template Name as the Context Segment.

Our requirement is to display and capture different DFF segments based on the Expense Report Template selected by the user. Specifically, we would like to know:

  • Can Expense Report Template Name be used as the context value/driver for DFFs in EXM_EXPENSES?
  • If this configuration is currently supported, could you please share the recommended approach and any applicable documentation?
  • If not supported, is there any product roadmap or planned enhancement to enable template-based DFF contexts in Oracle Expenses?
