Is it possible to prevent comments from triggering the approval process for performance goals?

edited 5:13PM in Performance Management 2 comments

Summary:

We have a request to configure the Approve Performance Goal rule so that adding or updating a Goal’s comment does not trigger the approval process.

However, there is no subprocess available to bypass approval specifically for Comments. Therefore, we tried to use Self Auto Approve as a workaround.

We have tested the following payload conditions:

  • Performance Goals.Legacy Key Attribute Updated
  • Performance Goals.Goal Updated Flag

However, we still haven’t been able to achieve the desired behavior where adding or updating comments does not trigger manual approval.

Has anyone implemented this before or encountered a similar requirement? If so, could you please share the solution or approach you used?

Howdy, Stranger!
