Booking Grid: Multiple Resources Required in Same Bucket

Has anyone successfully adapted the Booking Grid API to allow Capacity Checks in a scenario where more than 1 Resource is required to handle an activity in the same bucket?

High level example:

• Activity = Climb & Install
• Resources Required = 2
• Activities Created
  • Climb & Install
  • Climb Assist

The Booking Grid API allows us to check capacity in a bucket for a single activity, the 'Climb & Install' in this scenario, but it does not naturally handle a requirement for multiple resources.

Our current working theory is that we could simply take the 'duration', 'travelTime' and 'remainingQuota' values and run calculations against them to adjust as necessary. Such as:
