ESS Job for Initial Ingest keeps 'retrying'

I just cancelled all the ESS ingest jobs and submitted a new one for fa-alm-asset and the request keeps on 'retrying'. Any ideas? The environment was recently upgraded to 26c from 26b. Could that be a reason? Has anyone faced this issue with maintenance assets ingest jobs?
