Survivorship Rules for phone and email in CDM merge: Is it supported, and what"s the recommendation?

Description :

In Oracle Fusion Customer Data Management, duplicate Person and Organization records coming from multiple source systems (CRM and BILLING) are merged into one master record.

Requirement:

  • CRM should always be the master record.
  • For contact details (email, phone and address), the values should come from BILLING, even though CRM is the master.

Example:

  • Record A (CRM): email a@example.com, phone 98290-11111
  • Record B (BILLING): email b@example.com, phone 98290-22222
  • Expected result after merge: Record A (CRM) is the master, with email b@example.com and phone 98290-22222 from BILLING.

Questions:

  1. Can a merge be configured so that the master record is selected from one source system (CRM) while specific values such as email, phone and address are taken from another (BILLING)?
