Maintenance work order execution material and resource consumption control is not in place

Hi All,

In Oracle Fusion Maintenance Management, during work order execution, the system allows users to issue material quantities and charge resource hours exceeding the quantities defined in the work order operations and material requirements.

This can impact work order costing and on-hand inventory. We would like to know if there is a standard configuration to restrict users from issuing excess material or charging resource hours beyond the required quantities.

Configurations Tested:

We have tested the following plant parameter configurations:

• Default Transaction Quantity: Both
• Allow Quantity Changes During Backflush: None

We also tested different combinations by setting Default Transaction Quantity
