System Design: E-signature for assignment changes in Oracle HCM

We are currently using Oracle HCM's Transfer process flow to record any changes to employee's assignment.

As part of this workflow, we generate a letter and attach it in the Document records section of the Transfer flow so that upon approval completion, it is automatically saved to the employee's Document Records (DOR). The employee is currently included in the BPM approval chain because we require their formal acceptance before the transaction is completed. However, for audit and compliance purposes, a standard workflow approval status is no longer sufficient. We need to capture a legally binding eSignature from the employee.

Based on our understanding, e-signature cannot be executed directly within a standard transactional approval flow and must instead be handled via Journeys / Checklists using an 'Electronic Signature' task.
