Employee to automatically receive their Goal Plan and Performance Document after they pass probation

Once an employee passes probation and HR changes their assignment status to Active, the client wants the current year’s Goal Plan and Performance Document assigned automatically. Today, this requires a service ticket and manual action. We need to assess whether standard Oracle functionality can support this or whether custom automation is required.

What happens today

1. An employee joins the company with the status On Probation.
2. After they pass probation, HR changes their status to Active in Oracle.
3. Talent Admin is not automatically informed of this change.
4. The employee’s Goal Plan and Performance Document must therefore be assigned manually.
