OFS to OIC Integration Authentication Changes After March 2027

We currently have an integration between Oracle Field Service (OFS) and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) that uses an OFS Application configured with OAuth Client Credentials (Client ID and Client Secret) authentication. [docs.oracle.com]

We understand that changes to the Client ID/Client Secret authentication approach may be coming into effect around March 2027 and would like clarification on the impact to existing integrations.

Could you please confirm:

  1. Whether OAuth Client Credentials authentication for OFS integrations will be deprecated or unsupported after March 2027.
  2. If so, what is the recommended replacement authentication mechanism for OFS-to-OIC integrations.
  3. Whether Oracle recommends:
    • OAuth User Assertion Flow, or
