Confirmation of Oracle GTM Cloud Integration with OIC to Access Internal Oracle EBS

Existing Setup:

We currently have Oracle EBS R12.1.3 integrated with Oracle GTM Cloud.

  • EBS → GTM: Communication is initiated from the EBS internal application node.
  • GTM → EBS: GTM sends transactions to the EBS DMZ application node using the configured TransportAgentServer URL.

Due to security concerns, we are planning to decommission the EBS DMZ node and use only the internal EBS application node.

Proposed Setup:

We are evaluating Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) as an intermediary for GTM-to-EBS communication.

Proposed Flow:

GTM Cloud → OIC → OIC Connectivity Agent (Internal Network) → EBS Internal Application Node

The OIC Connectivity Agent would be installed on an internal server with outbound HTTPS connectivity to OIC and network access to the EBS internal application node.
