I haven't the slightest idea- I always just file an online case and ask that my vote go toward the ER # I list. :o :D
-
This project gives NetSuite a lot of things to consider and potential risks to manage. These things should be discussed between several people before any official information can be released. For now I wouldn't be surprised if they have a policy to not give any further information until these are discussed. yeah, How many…

yes Ray, I believe your correct. I mean non posting as not having a financial impact in any way (if used correctly), as opposed to a suspense account, that does. I wasn't being very clear. Thanks for clarifying that. :D

I just went back into it, and my jaw hit the floor. Seems users are already posting. Krish, that is great!!!! John, thanks! I was feeling very disheartened, as it did not seem as though there was interest, and I kind of felt like I was about to get my hand slapped. When I came home from dinner, I went back in for just a…

OK, perhaps I am being a bit naive here, but I was under the impression that if we voted for this ER, there is the possibility of it being released sooner. In NS own ER structure, the ones with th most votes get bumped to the top of the list, right? So is it not logical to believe that if people vote, then this will get…

:o wow JMU, what kind words. Thanks, it is appreciated.:)

Andrew, when a vendor shares a relationship as a customer, the info does remain independent, but you can easily navigate back and forth using the link in other relationships. To shift payments and charges back and forth, it can easily be done one of two ways. A JE- not ideal, but easy and direct. Utilizing an exchange…

Hi Angela, I have entered enhancement request 127515. Vote away! And yes, you will have input into the features of this collaborative Help Center environment. NetSuite customers' input will be critical to this project's success. Thanks, Valerie Hi Valerie, Thanks, I have added my vote. Also, My apologies if what I said was…

I wouldn't necessarily want the bulk of help unloaded into the Wiki. Help is already available, and can be accessed and searched easily. I was hoping for usability- in that, tricks and tips, things like applying ar/ap to an entity with a shared relationship. IMHO, having the complete help unloaded would create a clutter of…

Angela Wondering who exactly created this wiki. I know a while back I was playing around with different ideas and wikis was one such idea. The issue is I don't know if I was the one that created this one (coz it looks like I have a lot of rights on the wiki itself). But then I looked at the syslogs and this is what I found…

Hi Cecelia, I really appreciate you submitting this, but I think there were more than a few requests. Apparently, NS threw up their hands and just made one. Sorry that they didn't update your case, but at least they provided us with a number. Seems like we did it- now, we just get to wait and see if it makes a…

It looks like a small, tight-knitted local/regional users group could potentially happen sooner than that. or perhaps a small, tight knit group of more senior members who don't repeat the same questions. I have been hesitating on a NW UG, as while there are more users in the Nw than I thought, I don't want to break into…

Hey, guess what I found???:D (OK, I didn't find it, someone sent me the link) http://netsuite.wikia.com/wiki/Main_Page)? Not sure what that is exactly, as it seems to be rather...empty, but that could be me not knowing how to use it. (another PICNIC issue, may need that horrible woman Cecelia to straighten me out again :D…

Definitely agree we need to make this a priority to "get it done". All on board, raise your hands!:) and let's take some action to make this happen. Surely we can use SF as a model, if necessary. I'm already walking the talk here, I think! Earl, I appreciate your enthusiasm. However, I noticed that it is rather empty of NS…
-
Well, thanks, Valerie, it is good to know that you guys are working on it. Any chance that you might have an enhancement we could vote for that might speed up the process a bit? :D not trying to be pushy, just...ok, well, I'm a bit pushy by nature (comes as a shock, I know):o Also, will we, as end users, have any input as…

Wiz and Krish - funny stuff. :D Jim - you mention NetSuite's sponsorship/leadership... and I'd love for NS to be involved, but when you talk about having ALL documentation in a wiki... frankly, we all know that's not possible unless NetSuite owns and administers the wiki - and even if they didn't, it would be a herculean…
-
Here's why you do want all of the documentation in the wiki: [LIST=1] [*]So you don't have to recreate ANY of the existing documentation, but simply build on it and refer to it. [*]That's the beauty of any web site: hyperlinks -- all kinds of pages can be created along the lines you're talking about. But then, when you…

After reading all of these, I am really wondering if NS is going to comment. I would certainly like to hear what they might have to say on the subject.....

I'm all for a wiki properly organized and managed. Having said that, we seem to be beating this horse to death. There are at least 6 other threads in the User Group that have already discussed wiki. Threre are other threads that have discussed how to improve NS documentation. I'm all for a good wiki and better…
-
ooo- yeah, didn't see that before, hmmm- seems to exactly fit your need. How cool.
-
Your right, JMU, there was no content. A blank site. However, as I posted on the other thread: I just went back into it, and my jaw hit the floor. Seems users are already posting. Krish, that is great!!!! John, thanks! I was feeling very disheartened, as it did not seem as though there was interest, and I kind of felt like…

you can easily add a custom field, possibly a dropdown to choose one or the other. You could also use a custom checkbox, ie retail, if box is checked. Either way you can then filter your reports on them easily.

Hi Dave, with a simple use of an exchange account, you could use the memorized transaction to automate the second and third billing. Easy to use, just make sure you set it to stop at three. Also, upon your memorized transactions, instead of actually sending to the customer, you could just create the bills, and have an…

Angela: It looks like a Pacific Northwest group is all set to go whenever you are ready. :) I wish there are that many interested parties in Michigan and Ohio. well, until there are, we won't discriminate. The more the merrier! May take me a week or so, but I will get something together, and see what kind of interest there…
-
I, for one, would love to start a pacific Northwest group. Not sure what NS would have to do with it, actually, as I would prefer to be self moderated. If it grew to include events and conference type get togethers, I would hope that NS would at least recognize it, and not ignore it completely. Maybe even give us a contact…
-
I have approval from my new boss. It seems he has no problem with this. Effective 6-25-07, my contact details are Angela Bayliss Skyytek USA SouthWest abayliss@skyytek.com If you send me your contact info, I will compile it, and we can brainstorm on how we want to format our group, if there is enough interest. Although, by…

Hi Angela, Cyndi here from the NW (Seattle Area) - I'm interested! Hi Cyndi, Great to know! Imagine that, I also heard from someone here in Eugene. ( and to think, both women!) Perhaps we could at least figure something out to create our own regional group. Angelika is on the coast, actually lives close to where I was…
-
yeah, time is a commodity I don't have much of either. Interesting, though. I don't think there are many users in the pacific NW. Not sure how much interest there is around here.

Our problem is that we are in the middle of a sales tax audit by the State of Wisconsin, and the auditor is saying that the amount of the contract with NetSuite is subject to sales tax, but NetSuite did not charge sales tax, and we did not self assess. Our accountant doesn't agree with her ruling, but we need to build a…
