That's good to know that this wasn't a custom field @Jay Schwausch and @Joahnna Given Uy-Oracle @Jay Schwausch - I can paste screenshots without any problems, so it might have been a temporary issue. I would be curious to see the screenshot of the Workflow Field. If it can't be displayed directly, you might be able to…

Yes, I am not 100% clear why all of this doesn't seem to be working in one search, @mark petzold. I plan to spend a little bit more time on this to try a few other options. If this doesn't work in one search, our options are: One Saved Search per year A Saved Search requiring date selection. (you already implemented this)…

Thanks for the additional testing, @Patrick Fresnosa-Oracle. The "Charge Type" = "Purchase" on the Sales Order line should trigger the linkage to the Sales Order. If not, it has no other purpose of being available to be selected on the Sales Order. There is a chance NetSuite removed the Sales Order linkage option for…

Hi @User_LUL5V, The time of the creation SO won't impact it. Sometimes, the Billable charges aren't linked to Sales Orders as "NetSuite" treats them as "standalone from Sales Orders". Another such example is a Billable Expense Charge that is generated based on Charge-based Project Rule. In these cases, the link to the…

Hi @Mathias_Netsuite, You can enable a feature called Intercompany Time and Expense to cross-charge Project Expenses between subsidiaries.

Hi @User_7YN8E, Could you try to edit the Subaccount and change the Parent from there?
-
Hi @Dext3r, Could you ask your colleague to try another browser and see if that works? Also, the sublist search drop-down can be impacted by Home -> Set Preferences -> Maximum Entries in Dropdowns (I prefer 10) setting.
-
Hi @User_LUL5V, You can only create Purchase Charge Rules for Non-inventory Items and Service items. Could you advise what is your use case for creating them for inventory items? Thanks.
-
Hi @User_9K6TO, Do you have that feature off in Prod or another account? If yes, you can refresh the Dev instance from it. Another option is to contact Support and request to turn the feature off. They have access to back-end tools we don't and often help with such requests.

Hi @Santi B., Could you please clarify what you mean by "use Percent Complete Override for Forecasting"? Typically, the "Percent Complete Override" is used for the Actual Revenue Recognition to override the system-calculated (typically based on time entries) project completion percentage. If you always want to recognize…

Hi @User_E15G4, Could you advise which report you are trying to modify? Some have a "Reverse Sign" option. For others, you can create a custom field that is "reversed" and show/use that field on the report. Thanks.
-
Sure, @Jay Schwausch, You can create a custom line field by modifying the main page only: I would like to see the screenshot of the main page of the custom field. You can also make changes to the sub-tabs such as "Display", "Validation & Defaulting", "Sourcing & Filtering," and "Access". If you modified any of the…

Hi @Jay Schwausch, Could you please share screenshots for all the relevant custom field subtabs? I would like to know how the values are sourced (formula, search, filtering, etc.), if the "Store Value" is checked, and what you have set for the Display Type.
-
Hi @User_LUL5V, Thanks for confirming. Do you remember selecting the "Charge Type" on the SO before or after the charge was generated? If you think it was done after, you would need to delete and re-generate the charge for it to get linked to the Sales Order.
-
Hi @Janis001, Yes, you can do that by selecting the "Cash Basis Reporting" under "Accounting Preferences":

Hi @Ramkumar Natchimuthu, Thanks for the screenshots. If the formula doesn't work for you, another option is to specify the required "System Note" field in the criteria and have the "Date" in a separate column:

Good question, @User_EKY01, Are you using the native Revenue Field Mapping? I haven't used it for a while (I use custom mapping), but from what I remember, it would update a Custom Field on RA from a Source Transaction only: When the RA is created If the Custom Field is on the RA line Even if you have the field on the RA…

Hi @RickG_1136, If you would like to use the "Invoice Sales Orders" or "Process/Schedule Billing Operations" features, you would need to review the Billing Schedule from the Sales Order line so the "Bill/Next Bill" creates an invoice with the whole/remaining amount. If you need to do that for only a few Sales Orders, you…
-
Hi @Ted Stout, You can update the "Is Public" flag on a Saved Search via SuiteScript using the N/Search module.
-
There is a custom permission that allows editing GL impacting transactions that are "locked". It is under Custom Role -> Setup -> Override Period Restrictions. You could edit that Transfer Order as the Admin Role has "all" permissions.
-
Yes, if the number of Revenue Arrangements is large, and manual update isn't feasible, then you would need to develop a custom script to make the update.
-
Hi @User_EKY01, NetSuite CSV Imports currently don't support Revenue Arrangements. You can update Revenue Arrangements via SuiteScript.
-
Hi @RickG_1136, If you clear the Billing Schedule from the required Sales Order lines, you can invoice the full "Remaining Amount" for that line via the Invoice Sales Orders feature. You can clear the Billing Schedules via CSV Imports, as Mass Update doesn't support it.
-
Hi @User_25Q8W, It seems you have the correct "Transfer Order" = "Edit/Full" permission on the custom role. Can you check if the Transfer Order that you can't edit has a GL impact and is in a Closed Period? Thanks.
-
Hi @User_LUL5V, Thanks for the screenshots. I didn't see the "Charge Type" = "Purchase" on the Sales Order. Do you have that field showing on the form? If yes, did you select the correct Charge Type? Thanks.
-
Hi @3EyeMatt, I worked with Avalara Tax' Address Verification solution in NetSuite and it worked well. You can also take a look at "Precisely Address & Email Validation for NetSuite" and "Address Validation for NetSuite from Addrexx".

Hi @PPetrova, Here is how you can add the Transaction Amount to the Revenue by Customer report: Add a custom "Revenue Element: Exchange Rate" column to the report to show the exchange rate used on the source transaction Add a Formula Column and divide the "Amount" by the "Exchange Rate" column In some cases, you may have…

Hi @PPetrova, The Intercompany Income Account isn't ARM-specific. It is used for Intercompany Transactions, such as intercompany invoices, even if you don't use ARM or have "Direct Revenue Posting" = "True" set on items. From the ARM perspective, the only intercompany default account is the "Intercompany Deferred Revenue…

Hi @Armando, You can view the GL Impact on a Journal before approving it. You may see it on the "GL Impact" subtab or from Actions -> GL Impact. If the "Journal Status = Pending Approval", you will see "Posting = False" on the GL Impact screen. Balance Sheet and Income Statement financial reports only show transactions…

Hi @User_MW74S, You can show the line description on the Trial Balance Detail reports by adding the "Transactions: Description" column. Thanks.
