Regarding Enhancement 130168, it was associated with the invoice feature request but I'm not sure it addresses the proforma requirement. I would submit a new enhancement via SuiteIdeas or an online case with Support.

JCirocco, something like this should work: SUBSTR({trackingFieldID}, 1, (INSTR({trackingFieldID}, ' ',1)-1)) The logic here is to pull the first character to the first space, then remove the trailing space.
