Tracking ROI and source from hiring events

Hello all,

I've recently had the opportunity to look at all of our events from 2011 and to track the amount of hires we've had from all of our hiring events to include job fairs, military job fairs, company hiring invitational's and more. What I/we identified is:

- our Recruiters need to continue to validate source for all hires

- we need to drive more candidates from all of the events into Taleo

- our gut tells us the events are more effective than the data shows

We've since been successful in driving more candidates to our ATS by creating Event req's and providing a bit link that has the source of the event hard coded when they apply. We also e-mail blast all of the candidates after the event by collecting their e-mail address and providing the link again. Now, all of their applications for the event req have the hard coded source. The challenge, is that the candidate can have multiple sources against multiple applications. Even if you match the candidate from the event req, you lose the hard coded source. Thus, it's very challenging

Howdy, Stranger!
