What does everyone do for error notification?

I know TCC has the ability to send an email when an integration succeeds or fails. What about when an integration succeeds, but a few records within the data fail. How do you handle this? Is are you checking the result files each time it is run? Do you have a system to read the file and parse the records for the failures? I'd like to hear how others handle this on a routine basis.
