New Applicant Password Characters

I had a new problem arise today and was wondering if anyone else has had the same problem.  I had an internal applicant who was applying for one of our openings and was unable to use his current company password because it had a "?" in his password.  I called Taleo Support and was advised that for all applicants creating a user profile, only alpha and/or numeric symbols are accepted.  This only when a new applicant is created and is not the case for accessing Taleo.

The representative said that one other person has called with the same concern and that an "enhancement request" has been submitted.  Apparently, it takes at least 5 inquiries/complaints for an issue to be escalated to where it would be technically reviewed and hopefully resolved.  It would be nice for this to be changed, as until we have single sign-on, this might become a greater problem for our internal employees who want to use their same company password that may have a character(s) other than just alpha/numeric.

Howdy, Stranger!
