Onboarding and Vet and EEO Form Storage

Hi Everyone,
I had a issue and was hoping for insight on how other companies are handling this in regards to Onboarding. We are attempting to go as paperless as we can with our new hire process. How are managing EEO (ethnic identification/Vet Status) forms? Since these are supposed to be kept separate from other forms, have you had validation and creating two separate Onboarding packets is sufficient? Also has anyone found a cost effective solution for electronic I-9 storage?
