How are you passing supervisor information via your hire integrations?

HI there! Would appreciate any feedback you may have. At Quintiles we have been live with new hire integration from Taleo to PSHR for over 6 years now. Up to now we have always had a free text UDF on the offer record where the new employee's supervisor id (PS emplid) is entered. As mentioned, this is a free text field with no validation and while not a huge source of pain, we would like to look at potential solutions for building a more secure solution for capturing this information.
