Address validation

Is anyone doing anything to validate the addresses that are entered by candidates who are eventually converted to employees?  We are looking at possibly integrating Taleo with Oracle 11i but one of the sticking points is that when the address information flows over from Taleo to Oracle, Oracle attempts to do validation on the address for a correct city/state/zipcode combination, properly spelled city name, etc.

Does Taleo offer any pro-active address validation or has anyone figured out a solution to the need to verify address information up front?
