Tool for correcting custom sql from 7.5 to 12B?

We are in the process of upgrading from 7.5 to 12B and there are some reports which contain custom sql. Is there a tool available that compares the custom sql used in the 7.5 version and modifies it to fit the 12B standards? Is there any way to review the custom sql to see if it is still required at all? How have others resolved challenges with these types of issues?
