Using templates vs. manually entering information into Req's

Hello,

We are in the process of deciding if we want to transition over to using templates in Taleo vs. manually entering the information in when creating a req.

Can anyone tell me if they are currently using templates instead of manually adding in the information (such as job code, job title, salary ranges, and job grades).

What is the value is using templates vs adding the information in manually and how has the transistion gone for your company?

We are currently on 12B and are in the process of upgrading to 13A.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
