Using Override Approvals on Requisitions

We are attempting to use the new Override Approval function on requisitions.  We would like to designated select management that can be accountable for override approvals should they occur; however, we found they cannot do an override approval if they are also listed as an approver on the requisition.  Can someone suggest a workaround?  At our company, only certain management can be involved in the approval process.

Howdy, Stranger!
