Insight reports not pulling all the information, or pulling wrong information

I am working with the reports that are provided with the system, so I assume they should work properly. Reports titled "Candidates per Source" and "Candidates by Requisition" both produce the same graph titled "Candidates per Source".  Having chosen the same parameters, the graph is different under these reports.  Why is that and how do I know which is correct?

Also, the Hiring Summary report doesn't pull everyone's source info.  The information is in the system, but half of the candidates have blanks in the sources column.  Please help.
