Share Candidate Feature

I was hoping to see if it was possible to default the hiring manager when using the "share this candidate" feature when sharing a job submission via email.  I was told by support that this is not possible, but I had other users keep saying they have seen this before with other companies.  I attached a screenshot with what I'm talking about in case of any confusion.  We're on service pack 12C.
