Compensation Cycle before a Performance Review Cycle

Has anyone tried to implement the Compensation module before a performance review cycle has been completed in Perform?

For instance, if a company's performance reciews took place in December and the comp cycle took place in January, could we utilize comp in January 2014 and have the first performance review cycle take place in December 2014?

The reasoning is that due to internal time constraints, we don't think we'll be able to implement the performance review portion of Perform in time to complete the reviews in December.  We would like to however, use our old performance review process (paper-pencil) this December and utilize the comp module in January 2014 to determine raises and bonuses.  Then we would have a full year until out next performance review cycle in December of 2014.

Howdy, Stranger!
