Status change in review workflow

Hi all,

I am struggling a bit with the review workflow. Is there a possibility to have the status of a review updated automatically? When a new review is created, the status is set to 'new'. We have a workflow including a self-assessment. What I would want to happen is that as soon as the employee has started to do the input and saves or submits his self-assessment, the status of the review is set to 'in progress' automatically. Can this be done?
