Returning the most recent date

Summary

Want to return only the most recent date

Content

I have an analysis that I am doing in BI and trying to return just one record per person, with the date as the filter so to speak.  I have tried the MAX function on the date but when I do that, all rows in that column comes blank, no population.  I know I must be missing something very simple.  I have attached the file for your review.  Really appreciate any feedback.

Thanks,

Deb
