TaleoPerfom - English spell check automatic correction when typing in French

We have rolled out TaleoPerform module as of May 1, 2014 and the first message that I have received is related to the automatic spell check correction. Since we are using both languages English and French, our employees are experiencing problems when typing in French and having a system automatically correcting their French words into English. Is there any way around this? Is it simply because we are using one performance review template for both English and French?

Any advice will be highly appreciated. We don't want from the very first days have a negative impression of this new tool.
