Taleo to Workday Integrations

We are new to Taleo and are getting ready to integrate open up Transitions in Taleo and integrate new hire information to our HRIS system, Workday.  Does anyone have experience with this integration?  We are looking for a solution to get an Applicant ID back to Taleo, what can we use as a unique identifier, since Workday is limited with the fields we can create.
