Candidate Main Status Workflow

Hi,

I understand that some of the main status definitions are hard coded when a candidate first applies, but I am finding that the main status that is associated with a candidate does not always match the system definition.

Available - Status set for candidates that are not being considered for a specific Requisition. New Candidates that fill out a 'General Application' will be assigned to this status

• When the candidate record is added to the system through the Agency Portal they are assigned this status although they are attached to a requisition.
• When the candidate record is added by a recruiter using Add Candidate, this status is assigned.  We require a requisition to be assigned to every candidate added in the system.
