Restrict any sort of notifications/ Alerts from Taleo to Candidates

Hi,  I am looking for a functionality to restrict any sort of notifications/ Alerts from Taleo to Candidates. At this moment, Taleo does not provide any functionality to accomplish this requirement.  I would be really interested in the solution/ workaround you have built to send notifications to interested Candidates only.  Regards, Rishabh
